I was really unsure if I was up to making a Spring/Summer Assembly Gathering happen after the loss of my mum and the last couple of months of emotional chaos but this little Assembly community is a bright light for me - it really is. The idea of continuing to grow this tribe of warm-hearted and supportive creative women is something that brings me joy and putting it together energises me so here we are. And I'm so glad.
Our Spring/Summer Gathering is set to be our most haven-like creative experience yet. I don't know about you but I am so ready to escape, eat, make and connect.
So on Saturday the 10th of June, come celebrate with us the return of the lighter Spring evenings and relish in the simple pleasures of Summer as we gather at the warm-hearted farmstead of Jo & Erin from The Edible Flower in rural Co. Down (outskirts of Saintfield). Together we will enjoy two hands-on workshops from The Edible Flower team and also from macrame expert Alison of ASTRL Fibres. We will then dine on three delicious courses of homemade local food served by Erin & Jo and embark on a sunset photo-walk in the meadows around the property before retreating to the campfire to connect and share.
The menu that Erin and Jo have put together has me salivating at the thought - think homemade elderflower cocktails, slow cooked Eastern spiced pork, homemade mozzarella and an array of fresh herbs and edible flowers from Erin and Jo's magnificent gardens.
This Spring/Summer Gathering will be a beautiful time of recharging, reconnecting and investing in your creative path in the company of other honest and inspiring women. We have only 30 places this time so don't wait around to make plans to join us. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to send me a message!
We cannot wait to have you...
